Open Air Luxury
The folks at Homegrown Outdoor Finishes have been building luxury outdoor spaces for decades, but the age and branding of their website didn’t convey the high end luxury and superior service that the company is known for. We needed to build a site that felt inviting and luxurious, but also approachable and easy to navigate. It needed to be a place where a couple could gather design ideas and build an estimate for their dream back yard, but also a place where a landscape contractor could easily order a truckload of mulch for delivery the next day. All while integrating with a multitude of business systems.
The Process
A Range of Needs
The new Homegrown Outdoor Finishes site presents a plethora of projects for users to draw inspiration. It has a project estimator that allows users to select the services they need and their scale, and it allows them to save that info, send it to Homegrown Outdoor Finishes and schedule a consultation.
The site also contains e-commerce functionality which allows users to estimate how much of a material they will need, order it on-site, and schedule a time for drop off. All of this makes Homegrown Outdoor Finishes the perfect site for all kinds of outdoor enthusiasts.
The Outcome

Our inspiration was the grids that are created when laying out complex brickwork patterns on patios and pool decks. We chose a classic typeface to give a sense of familiarity as well as an air of refinement. All of this adds up to a site that looks fresh, tasteful, modern, and offers a quality user experience that is easy to navigate, with some pleasant surprises.
